Fiction writing adaptation of the GAD loop for novels and story outlines

Apply the GAD planning loop to fiction and creative writing projects. Manages beat sheets, chapter drafts, canon locks, forward questions, and narrative state using the standard 5-doc planning structure with fiction-specific vocabulary.

  1. Check project type — look for fiction indicators:

    • Beat sheets, chapter IDs in task registry
    • MT-* or ML-* decision IDs (manuscript/canon locks)
    • books// directory structure
    • AGENTS.md with "fiction" or "manuscript" language

  2. Follow the manuscript loop as defined in the skill.

 Read and follow the companion `manuscript` skill if it is installed.
